The challenge As a Senior Oracle DBA, you will play a hands-on role in supporting MSS customer databases across development, test, and production environments. You will be responsible for database administration, performance optimisation, troubleshooting, and technical implementations, ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available database systems in a 24/7 environment. Key responsibilities - Own database operations, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, migrations, and architecture improvements. - Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases on Linux and Windows. - Ensure database performance, availability, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery readiness. - Analyse and optimise SQL queries, indexing strategies, and database resources. - Support cloud-based database solutions (AWS RDS, OCI) and cloud migration initiatives. - Implement and maintain database security, patching, and compliance requirements. - Monitor database health and resolve complex production incidents. - Contribute to automation, operational excellence, and documentation standards. - Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation supporting critical production systems. About us: As a Data Scientist in Sportradar's AI unit, you will work withing an established, high performing team of experts on the design, development and deployment of predictive models and algorithms powering Spotradar's products. The position will be focused on the development of AI and advanced analytics solutions for sportsbook risk management and liquidity driven odds trading, collaborating closely with product owners and technical leads in our Managed Trading Services and Odds Services product domains.
