About us You'll join MTS (Managed Trading Services) - the platform behind Sportradar's risk betting management, processing millions of bets in real time for operators around the world. Our teams own high-throughput, low-latency services: risk and liability, odds and offer, ticket validation, and the data plane that feeds them. We work in a modern cloud-native stack: Java (Spring Boot / Quarkus), Kafka / MSK, gRPC & Protobuf, AWS (EKS, ECS, DynamoDB, Aurora), ArgoCD / GitOps, Terraform, and observability on Grafana, Prometheus and OpenTelemetry. This is a great place to level up: you'll ship real features to production quickly, learn a genuinely rich domain, and grow toward owning larger pieces of it. The challenge - Design, build, test and ship backend services and APIs that are part of a larger, real-time system; and see them through to production. - Deliver in small increments. Break work into concrete, independently shippable pieces that land and get validated as you go, rather than accumulating into one big drop. - Own your changes in production; help with monitoring, alerting and the occasional on-call, and learn how your services behave under real load. - Write clean, well-tested, documented code, take part in code review, and help capture key decisions so the team can build on them. - Learn the MTS ecosystem; how the interconnected services fit together; and grow the independence to make more calls yourself over time. - Work with product managers and senior engineers to turn requirements into well-shaped, deliverable work. - Use modern, AI-assisted development; we actively encourage spec-driven, agentic workflows to move faster with quality. About you Must-have skills - 2+ years of professional experience with Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate, or similar modern frameworks) or another strong OO language. - Good grasp of computer science fundamentals and clean, testable code. - Solid understanding of automated testing; unit, integration, and API testing (JUnit, Mockito, or similar). - Comfortable with CI/CD and collaborative git workflows. - AI-assisted, spec-driven development as part of your day-to-day workflow; not just autocomplete. - Willingness to run what you build; going beyond writing code to owning your changes in production (deployment, monitoring, on-call). Nice-to-have skills - Exposure to AWS, Kafka, Docker / Kubernetes, or relational and NoSQL databases. - Familiarity with gRPC / protobuf, Rest API design, or event-driven systems. - Interest in IaC (Terraform), GitOps, or observability tooling. - Interest in betting, trading, or other real-time / high-throughput domains. Personal traits - Eager to learn; a complex domain and a modern stack, quickly. - Takes ownership of their work and wants to grow toward owning features end-to-end. - A collaborative teammate with good communication who asks questions and gives honest input. - Pragmatic, with a bias toward shipping small and often. - A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to high professional standards. Our offer - A collaborative environment with colleagues from all over the world (Engineering offices in Europe, Asia, and the US), including various social events and teambuilding. - Ability to shape your own workday and career via a clearly defined professional and personal development plan. - Opportunity to develop yourself within an inspiring and fast-growing company with our Career framework possibilities. - Vibrant and inclusive community, including Women in Tech and Pride groups, which welcome all participants. - Global Employee Assistance Programme. - Calm and Reulay app (managing stress, maintaining focus, improving sleep, building resilience). - Online training videos. - Flexible working hours. While we appreciate the flexibility and benefits of working from home, we strongly believe that coming together in person fosters stronger connections, encourages collaboration, and drives innovation; both as individuals and as a company. The energy, shared ideas, and team support we experience in the office strengthen the foundation of our success and culture. For this reason, we are an office-first business operating on a fully on-site model, with team members working in the office five days a week to build relationships, exchange ideas, and grow together. Certain exemptions may apply depending on location; your local point of contact can provide further details. Our recruitment process - Initial screening: a quick video chat with our Talent Acquisition Partner. - Introduction interview: meet the technical team and hiring manager to dive into the team and your expertise. - Technical assessment: a short home task with emphasis on your AI-assisted, spec-driven development skills; showing how you use agentic workflows to deliver. - Final interview: discuss your solution and team fit with additional team members. - Final steps: feedback and, if successful, an offer. https://smrtr.io/B-Dps

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join a team of talented engineers who build premium solutions at scale. Every day, we tackle ambiguous and stimulating challenges. Join a highly experienced team who builds quality and responsible advertising, at scale! Our main Engineering challenges at Teads Working in a very high-traffic environment (2.2 billion users per month, 100 billion events per day) with low latency and high availability constraints (2 million requests per second, responses in less than 150 milliseconds). Rich and diverse tech stack and system architecture to optimize for performance, scalability, resiliency, and cost efficiency. We use mostly Java, Scala, Golang, Python, and TypeScript, among others. Management of large datasets with milliseconds order of magnitude access time, to compute in a near real-time complex auction resolution algorithm (18 million predictions per second). Build efficient and easy-to-use web products used by thousands of users working for the world's most premium publishers, advertisers, and agencies. A fast-changing environment where we continuously collaborate with Product teams and constantly adapt our Cloud infrastructure for new features and Products. Bring a wide diversity of profiles to the same level of quality and knowledge. Our Infrastructure Team Running on public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) as well as on-premise data centers, we are a growing team intentionally composed of diverse skills sets (development obviously, but also data store, software reliability, operational automation, etc.) which aims at delivering a first-class platform for our product development teams. We embrace Reliability Engineering, toil is our enemy while automation at scale is our main ally. What will you do? As part of the Cloud Foundation team, you'll be the master architect of our core infrastructure, with a primary focus on global networking and automated provisioning. You'll bridge the gap between our public clouds (AWS, GCP) and on-premise data centers by building the high-performance connectivity and "Infrastructure as Code" pipelines that tie them together. Your work will ensure that our network is not only secure and resilient but also invisible to the feature teams who rely on your automated workflows to spin up environments at scale. You'll thrive on solving complex routing challenges and streamlining the lifecycle of our resources, always striving for maximum efficiency and speed. Through constant collaboration and knowledge sharing, you'll help us evolve a rock-solid foundation that scales as fast as our ambitions. Your skills and experience: BS in Software Engineering (or extensive experience equivalent to). Good programming abilities. Responsible and proficient adopter of AI tools. Extensive experience building and running workloads in public clouds (AWS, GCP, or both) Strong working knowledge of and experience in IaC technologies, like Terraform. Strong commitment to quality designs, automation, and documentation. Pride in ownership, initiative and collaboration. Eager to learn, discover and become proficient in new tools and languages. Effective communicator; you love to solve problems and are creative in your work. You embrace change and are enthusiastic to learn in order to bring projects to proper completion. Bonus points: Past experience in building, industrializing and running large highly available, high scale and high traffic infrastructure in multiple regions. Past experience in advertising technology or e-commerce. Career Development: Continuous investment in our employees' skills: in-house and external training, internal mobility … Life Balance: A well-balanced work-life for our employees is one of our top priorities: 22 days off per year, 15 days per year of work from anywhere, hybrid work (3 days per week in the office) Wellness: Prioritizing employee well-being through premium work equipment, enjoyable work environment (work-life balance, team building events, summits), remote work subsidy, promoting Diversity & Inclusion with internal & external initiatives, etc. https://job-boards.eu.greenhouse.io/teads1/jobs/4924453101
