This involves close collaboration with the DevOps team on connectivity for deployments and microservices, as well as with the Developer team to understand application and traffic requirements. - The role also covers network observability and automation, troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues, and continuously improving our network architecture to ensure high availability and strong security posture for our customers. You have the following qualifications: - Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field - Strong, hands-on experience with AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect, Route 53, load balancers) - Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls (VM-Series, Panorama) or comparable centralized security/firewall platforms - Solid understanding of core networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, DNS, routing and switching) - Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation and Ansible, and version control systems (e.g., Git) - Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for network automation and tooling - Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and adopting new technologies - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams — English being the primary language Must Have - Multi-cloud and Enterprise networking. - Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager centralized policy management and logging. - VPNs, site-to-site and client connectivity, Zero Trust network access. - Load balancers (ALB/NLB or equivalent), reverse proxies, and WAF concepts. - Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL) administration. - Containerized and Kubernetes networking (EKS/AKS, CNI, service mesh basics). - Multi-tenancy experience. - Genuine interest in energy industry topics (ICT and energy market knowledge). - A proactive, communicative, and responsible team player with the ability to work independently and solve problems effectively. - Enjoyment in working collaboratively with interdisciplinary and international teams. - Excellent command of English (C1), both written and spoken. Nice to Have - Security certifications (e.g., PCNSA/PCNSE, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty). - SD-WAN or Zero Trust architecture experience. - Version Control Systems (GitHub) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions). - Database Administration (PostgreSQL). - Messaging software (RabbitMQ). - Energy grid and market knowledge. - GitOps (ArgoCD). - Observability tools (Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Alertmanager, ELK stack).
