Our main Engineering challenges at Teads Working in a very high-traffic environment (2.2 billion users per month, 100 billion events per day) with low latency and high availability constraints (2 million requests per second, responses in less than 150 milliseconds). Rich and diverse tech stack and system architecture to optimize for performance, scalability, resiliency, and cost efficiency. We use mostly Java, Scala, Golang, Python, and TypeScript, among others. Management of large datasets with milliseconds order of magnitude access time, to compute in a near real-time complex auction resolution algorithm (18 million predictions per second). Build efficient and easy-to-use web products used by thousands of users working for the world's most premium publishers, advertisers, and agencies. Our Infrastructure Team Running on public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) as well as on-premise data centers, we are a growing team intentionally composed of diverse skills sets (development obviously, but also data store, software reliability, operational automation, etc.) which aims at delivering a first-class platform for our product development teams. We embrace Reliability Engineering, toil is our enemy while automation at scale is our main ally. What will you do? As part of the Cloud Foundation team, you'll be the master architect of our core infrastructure, with a primary focus on global networking and automated provisioning. You'll bridge the gap between our public clouds (AWS, GCP) and on-premise data centers by building the high-performance connectivity and "Infrastructure as Code" pipelines that tie them together. Your work will ensure that our network is not only secure and resilient but also invisible to the feature teams who rely on your automated workflows to spin up environments at scale. You'll thrive on solving complex routing challenges and streamlining the lifecycle of our resources, always striving for maximum efficiency and speed. Extensive experience building and running workloads in public clouds (AWS, GCP, or both) Strong working knowledge of and experience in IaC technologies, like Terraform. About the Opportunity & Team This role sits within the Ad Experience team, reporting directly to our Engineering Director based in Montpellier, France. This team is responsible for driving the complete lifecycle of a Creative on the Enterprise side of Teads. We build the core tools that bring digital ads to life: Studio: Our flagship WYSIWYG web application designed to craft and animate rich ad experiences. Creative Editor: A guided workflow for building streamlined creatives quickly and intuitively. Ad Delivery & Players: Proprietary in-browser players that seamlessly render ad formats across millions of web pages. Our technology stack is front-end leaning (Angular, React, and pure TypeScript formats), backed by robust Node.js and Scala services. A major strategic priority for the team is expanding our capabilities by building an intelligent AI agent. This agent will empower creators inside and outside of Teads to design high-performing creatives faster through an innovative, AI-based design scoring system. You will manage and support a dedicated, distributed team of 4 frontend/full-stack engineers (3 based locally in Ljubljana and 1 in Montpellier). You will collaborate daily with a dedicated Product Manager based locally in Ljubljana, while the team's overarching technical vision is further supported by 2 Staff Engineers reporting directly to the Engineering Director. We are looking for someone with Frontend or Full-stack experience. About the Role As the Engineering Manager for Ad Experience, your mission is to mentor, support, and empower your engineering team while collaborating closely with product and cross-functional partners to deliver exceptional creative tools. Success in this role means establishing a highly trusting, psychologically safe environment where engineers can thrive, while ensuring the seamless delivery of our AI agent and core creative applications.
